The strong LNG trade growth has resulted in massive orders of LNG vessels and the appearance of the new players on the market. The traditional pipeline transportation and the conventional LNG shipping model based on point to point delivery are not always able to cope with the increasing market imbalances and new types of LNG projects. 

 

The course compares the conventional tram line shipping with several new LNG trading models that will change the face of LNG shipping such as the Portfolio Optimization, the development of the tolling model, self contracting, arbitrage trading, LNG cargo swaps, LNG reloading or the spot trade implications for LNG shipping companies.

 

It is an overview of LNG shipping knowledge and the study of main LNG shipping trends and provides a good insight in the strategic choices of the main Independent LNG Shipping Companies.
